Learning. Living. Leading.

gfm1 gfmpicAre you interested in furthering your education?  Do you enjoy having intellectual conversations?  Do you want to know more about living out your faith in a missional context?  Do you like coffee?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, you should stop by the office on a Monday afternoon and join us for our Global Frontier Missions Class.  Our current class is called Christian Community Development and we’re reading through When Helping Hurts: How to Allieviate Poverty without Hurting the Poor…and Yourself  by Steve Corbett and Brian Fikkert.

Book Discussion: Monday  12-1pm  Bring your lunch and we’ll talk about this week’s reading assignment.  All are welcome even if you didn’t get the reading done. There’s grace in this place.

Class: Monday 1-2:30pm  Class sounds a bit intimidating.  Don’t let it freak you out.  We watch a video and talk about it.

If you’re interested or want more information, stop by or call the office.  The classes run for 8 weeks each and you can sit in, or take the classes for credit.  We’ve got a mixture of people with different goals for the course.  All are welcome.
